Mental health industry: wellness or control?

America is the most medicated nation on the face of the earth, and the mental health industry is big business. Demographic statistics indicate that over one in five children and adults are annually medicated for mental health ‘diseases’ that may be entirely fabricated.

And why?

Not for the sake of improving overall mental health ‘wellness’, but for the sole purpose of generating massive profits, for both the pharmaceutical industry and corporate insurance conglomerates. For every perceived psychological or psychiatric syndrome, there now exists a manufactured remedy in the form of some side-effect ridden pharmaceutical. Dig beneath the rocky surface of this ever growing multi-trillion dollar industry, however, and one shall find a malevolent landscape infested with maggots. 

Shockingly, to date, there has not been one mental health ‘disease’ validated by the psychiatric industry, neither, per testimony of those professionals working in the industry, does there exist any biological or chemical test to validate the cause or existence of any currently diagnosed mental health syndrome.

Rubbish, I here one scoff.

Well then, shall we here this fact confirmed by the so-called professionals?

 

WELLNESS or CONTROL?

Is the philosophical basis of the psychiatric industry the betterment of wellness, or is there an ulterior agenda behind what appears to be the dubious diagnoses of fraudulent psychiatric syndromes? Does there exist a plausible explanation for what amounts to the illicit narcotization of tens of millions of American children and adults, perceived to be afflicted with mental health maladies? Considering the investigated and verifiable facts, the mental health industry is all about the generation of profits and not the welfare of people. But, is there indeed a social, and perhaps even an ulterior political agenda at work behind the profit making? If one has learned anything, it is this: The ruling elites not only want your money, they covet your obedience. Psychiatric professionals not only act as their agents of fortune, they also play the role of authority by proxy. The only true political virtue is obedience to authority, and the only true political sin is independence. For, independence renders authority obsolete. The empowered individual infuriates the ruling elites, and to a very significant degree, even frustrates the rank and file, who are both emotionally and economically invested into the control system called society. Their very state of mental health is invested in following the herd, to ensure their belief systems stay within the boundaries of the accepted thought paradigms. Any words, ideas, or beliefs perceived to fall beyond those accepted boundaries becomes a one way ticket to the psychiatric puzzle factory of social rehabilitation.

The diagnoses of a perceived mental illness is validated solely by subjective analysis of behavior. The diagnoses of disease, on the other hand, lacks such subjectivity.

Diseases are discovered by pathologists performing peer reviewed and scientific anatomical examinations or exploratory autopsies upon cadavers under controlled laboratory conditions. Mental health diagnoses is based upon what one does, whereas disease is diagnosed on the basis of some genuine physical malady one has.

An individual can become solely afflicted with a disease, but it takes one or more conspiring persons to create a mental health diagnoses. The derivation and dubious classification of a ‘mental illness’ is always diagnosed from the basis of a prevailing or conflicting social dynamic. When an individual’s behavior or belief system becomes socially unacceptable, they can now be diagnosed as mentally ill, particularly when the person performing the diagnoses acts from the position of perceived superiority.

One doesn’t develop diabetes or cancer because someone doesn’t approve of your physical condition. In order to be diagnosed with a mental illness, another has to be present to subjectively judge one’s behavior as morally good or bad. In this sense, the diagnoses of mental illness is used as a socially modifying weapon, particularly when there is to be found a dynamic of power conflict present.

Upon rational consideration, the comparison between disease and mental illness is not reciprocally analogous.

One can testify from first hand experience of the frequent dismissive and almost vitriolic reactions of those encountering the controversial ideas discussed here at Newpellcom.org.  When faced with controversial ideas to which they have not been socially or educationally conditioned, one shall hear the gutless shills cry out with their own ad hominem diagnostic mantra:

“Oh, Sandy Hook was a hoax? You must be insane. You need to go see a psychiatrist and take your prescribed medications!”

One shall no doubt be called mentally ill for daring to articulate the idea the emperors of the psychiatric and mental health industry are in fact presiding stark naked over a profitable criminal enterprise disguised as shining kingdom.

No doubt, one shall be labelled unscientific, perhaps even ignorant for writing what follows.

The idea that mental illness can be diagnosed via brain scans or blood analysis represents perhaps the most conspicuous fallacy of the mental health industry. How is it then, psychiatrists go about diagnosing so-called mental afflictions? Perhaps not so surprisingly, they are created via consensus and voted upon among mental health professionals and compiled in a text called the DSM (Diagnostic Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders). From there, ‘patients’ are prescribed what is believed to be the appropriate pharmaceutical to alleviate their subjectively perceived ‘mental illness’. Insurance companies play an integral role in the mental health industry’s triangular profit pyramid, routinely colluding with licensed psychiatrists and the multi-national corporate pharmaceutical cartels.

 

SHORT LIST OF PHARMACEUTICAL SETTLEMENTS

The list of pharmaceutical corporations paying colossal amounts in out of court settlements has almost become a running joke among those in the legal community. However, when one collects profits often exceeding hundreds of billions and often approaching into the trillions, 2 or 3 billion paid for routine out of court settlements to claimants seems comparatively meager, and is often shrugged off as merely the cost of doing business. But, what of the cost to those millions suffering life long side effects from being prescribed what is essentially bottled poison, now suffering from real diseases, that in fact proved worse than the prescribed cure. And what of the mental health professionals, the doctors in whom these afflicted patients placed their submissive trust-how is it they became involved in such a sordid racket? The answer(s): blackmail and bribery.

In 2012, Glaxo-Smith-Kline paid out over three billion for off-label promotion and failure to disclose important and pertinent public safety data. Glaxo-Smith-Kine was also found to be negligent in paying kickbacks to physicians, and making false and grossly misleading statements in the marketing of Avandia, Wellbutrin, Paxil, Zofran, and other heavily marketed pharmaceutical products. From 2009 until 2013, companies such as Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, and Eli Lilly, each reportedly paid out a cumulative 6 billion dollars for committing similar acts of gross criminality.

So, tell me folks, is there really any difference between the garden variety drug pushing street punk and the corporate pharmaceutical titans?

One can choose the poison of their choice, of course, but the only true delineation between the two criminals are superficially drawn. The latter dons the uniform of social acceptability, and can afford to spend millions in hawking his product on mainstream television networks, whereas the former is seen as competition, and is summarily harassed, arrested and sentenced to prison.
