To the millions of her loyal viewers – those who have dutifully followed her star-studded career as a “journalist” and television hostess over a span of several decades – the award-winning Jane Pauley has appeared to epitomize the quintessence of class and dignity; an image representing the embodiment of journalistic professionalism.

When one considers Jane Pauley, her very name conjures an idealized image, the pristine image of a well-respected television journalist belonging to a bygone era.
