The plot of the movie involves an author – Clifford Irving – who scams his publishing company into advancing him copious amounts of money to write a fake biography of eccentric American billionaire Howard Hughes. Despite contrary protests to his publisher, the movie’s protagonist author is a scamster running a massive ruse, had never met or talked to Hughes, nor had he gained the billionaire’s personal approval to commit his colorful life story to the printed word. Reportedly, the movie’s unedited cut includes scenes, later deleted before release, of an actor who portrayed American literary giant Truman Capote, an author most renowned for writing ‘In Cold Blood’ which literary critics, as if wedded together by some singularly minded consensus, proclaimed as the finest example of ‘true-crime non-fiction’ in the canon of twentieth-century American literature.
There exists, however, a curious parallel between the movie plot of The Hoax and the morally questionable method of operation employed by Capote for his acclaimed novel ‘In Cold Blood’, purported to a be a ‘true’ account of events in the aftermath of some brutal murders which took place in a remote Kansas farming town in 1959.

Apparently, Capote and his literary masterpiece went beyond the boundaries of mere artistic license while recounting what was alleged to have been a true-to life narrative.
Soon after the publication of ‘In Cold Blood’ in 1966, a piece appeared in Esquire magazine which critically cast doubt on the authenticity of Capote’s superbly written accounts, claiming Capote “completely fabricated quotes and whole scenes.”
Actually, what Esquire magazine failed to report is that when it comes to considering “Truman Capote”, the fabrication resonates more darkly, and goes much, much deeper.
FRIENDS WITH OTHER FAKERS
One of the first things everyone should know about “Truman Capote” is that after rising to fame as a prominent figure of American literature during the 1960’s, most notably with Breakfast at Tiffany’s which was later adapted for the big screen starring Audrey Hepburn (aka Princess Ira von Furstenberg/Barbara Walters) as Holly Golightly and then with ‘In Cold Blood’, Capote kept rather regular and friendly company with Princess Lee Radziwill (aka Jane Fonda/Nancy Pelosi/Dolly Parton), sister of Jaclyn Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (aka Marilyn Monroe/Shirley Temple Black/Judy Garland/Helen Thomas). Hired as a scriptwriter on a Hollywood film entitled Beat the Devil, Capote worked with Humphrey Bogart (aka Frank Sinatra) cast as the film’s star. Capote was also known to hobnob quite regularly with the media-generated fabricated character scheme known as Andy Warhol (aka Dennis Hopper/JFK/Roger Daltrey/William F. Buckley) and sustained a public and litigious feud with fellow writer and pseudo-intellectual Gore Vidal (aka Carl Reiner), father of Hollywood actor/director Rob Reiner (aka Al Gore/Doctor Wayne Carver/Doctor Robert Redfield/U.S. VP candidate Tim Waltz).

Wikipedia confirms, “He {Capote} traveled in an eclectic array of social circles, hobnobbing with authors, critics, business tycoons, philanthropists, Hollywood and theatrical celebrities, royalty, and members of high society, both in the U.S. and abroad.”
With friends such as these, most of whom have been identified as serial perpetrators of Post-Modern Reality Simulation, one could safely be assured that from the investigation’s outset there was also something thoroughly amiss with the literary persona and socio-cultural phenomenon once known as “Truman Capote”.
But just how did Capote readily gain access to such exclusive company including the rich, famous, and even royalty?
As shall shortly be demonstrated, the answer to that hypothetical question lies in the fact that for the entirety of his public career, “Truman Capote” was a media-generated character scheme portrayed by one of Hollywood’s biggest entertainment stars of the twentieth century, a well-seasoned actor, singer, and entertainer with genealogical connections to European royalty. But as is usually revealed to be the case through deeper investigation, there are also connections between “Capote” and the Vatican’s Society of Jesus (aka Jesuit order/Knights Templar).
In the ensuing years after the resounding success of ‘In Cold Blood’, with his creative energies seemingly on the wane, sapped by both alcohol and drug abuse, Capote allotted more time to showcasing, flaunting his unique, if not outrageously flamboyant personality before cameras on the television talk show circuit than he did sitting in front of his typewriter busily producing another brilliantly conceived novel.
Objectively observed through an investigative lens probing beneath the superficial media gloss, the career trajectory of “Truman Capote” begins to reappear as the sort of typical character arc written for cliche-ridden Hollywood screenplay tragedies, B-grade films, soap operas and low brow cable television dramas, exposing Capote as a fabricated character modification portrayed by a highly skilled actor, created not only for mass market commercial consumption but for deeper if not ulterior, even subversive purposes. Indeed, the celebrity media figure known as “Capote” was an artificially designed persona scripted to titillate, charm, and to even shock or to agitate the American general public.
Jesuit/CIA-controlled Wikipedia – supported by a quotation from a piece written by Doctor Jeff Solomon of Wake Forest University in 2008 – even goes so far as to suggest that Capote was a forerunning, if not pioneering social justice warrior and an advocate of ‘identity and gender politics’.
As has been pointed out in several previous articles, the concept of Social Justice (aka Marxism) derives from Jesuit scholar Luigi Taparelli d’Azeglio.
“Capote was openly gay,” reports Wikipedia. “Although he never embraced the Gay Rights movement, his own openness about homosexuality and his encouragement for openness with others made him an important player in the realm of gay rights. In his piece, ‘Capote and the Trillings: Homophobia and Literary Culture at Mid-Century’, Jeff Solomon details an encounter between Lionel and Diana Trilling – two New York intellectuals and literary critics – in which Capote questions the motives of Lionel, who had recently published a book on E.M. Forster but had ignored the author’s homosexuality. Solomon argues: ‘When Capote confronts the Trillings on the train, he attacks their identity as literary and social critics committed to literature as a tool for social justice, capable of questioning their own and society’s preconceptions, and sensitive to prejudice by virtue of their heritage and, in Diana’s case, by her gender’.”
Solomon’s quotation seems to imply that Capote was much less concerned with the merits of Trilling’s literary criticism and analysis and more generally preoccupied with using his literary status in recruiting allies to promote paradigm changing social justice agendas. Although Solomon may have intended otherwise, written in praise rather than intending to expose his subject as a fraudulent imposter, his anecdote nevertheless unwittingly serves to blow Capote’s cover, revealing that the literary superstar and cultural phenomenon known as “Truman Capote” was created to play the role of socio-political engineering propagandist, agent provocateur.
COLD BLOODED FABRICATIONS
Capote claimed the story told in his most notable, famous novel, ‘In Cold Blood’ was based upon a ‘true’ event, the murder of four members of the Clutter family by two escaped convicts – Richard Hickock, Perry Smith – in the remote town of Holcomb, Western Kansas in 1959. Capote’s book also alleges that both Hickock and Smith were later convicted and sentenced to death row executions by hanging. Over the decades, ‘In Cold Blood’ has been adapted several times for television, film, and documentaries. The Hollywood actor cast in the role of Capote in one of the more recent film adaptations of ‘In Cold Blood’, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, though alleged to have died soon after filming his starring role, has been discovered to be still alive. In fact, ‘Hoffman’ is a pseudonym attached to a fabricated celebrity persona portrayed by and modified from a more famous Hollywood actor better known for his roles in Hollywood action films.
But more on this later.
While the motive of the accused killers was said to ostensibly have been robbery, based on a tip from a fellow convict prior to effectuating their alleged crime, the subject of criminal motive regarding the Clutter murder case appears rather murky and to this day, admits Wikipedia, is still “in dispute”. Although presumed that Hickock and Smith targeted the Clutter family residence motivated by the intent of robbery, the two suspects reportedly managed a scant gain for their considerable efforts – a portable radio, a pair of binoculars, and a mere fifty dollars. Hickock later contradictorily claimed – in a manuscript written while imprisoned – that he had been paid five-thousand dollars beforehand by a man named ‘Roberts’. During that era in America, five-thousand dollars represented a substantial sum, and in the context of the working classes, equivalent to a sizable portion of a year’s salary, wages. But the testimony written in Hickock’s manuscript is again contradicted by Capote’s book, claiming that while on the run from the law after committing the murders the pair of felons were desperate, financially destitute, living hand-to-mouth and at one point resorted to collecting, redeeming discarded soda cans, beer bottles from roadside ditches for pocket money.
From an investigative standpoint, it appears both Hickock and Capote weren’t telling a true-to-life crime story, but fabricating dramatically sensationalized, human-interest oriented nonsense meant for public consumption which could be further developed, tailored for mass publication, wider distribution and profitably adapted into Hollywood films, television specials.
During 1961, while still imprisoned and on death row, Hickock tried to shop his manuscript to Random House, but it was reportedly rejected due to the fact Capote had already been commissioned to write the Clutter family homicide story. The larger question is why, given his account had even a shred of credibility, Hickock hadn’t used the information about ‘Roberts’ and the five-thousand-dollar commission as leverage to appeal his death row sentence and to gain a new hearing or trial? He most likely chose not to do so because his account, like most of the details recounted in Capote’s ‘In Cold Blood’ regarding the Clutter murder case, derived from pure fantasy, was a complete fabrication, created for larger and ulterior motives. Furthermore, there exist indications the Clutter homicide case was every bit as fantastical as the hoaxed O.J. Simpson murder/trial scenario. Just in case you’re one who may chalk the latter statement up to wild speculation, you may want to think again. Turns out, one of the murder victims, Herbert W. Clutter, from Capote’s ‘In Cold Blood’ had a connection to former U.S. president Dwight D. Eisenhower, identified as a fabricated character scheme portrayed by Hollywood/Coca-Cola executive Barry Diller aka Robert Shapiro, one of O.J. Simpson’s lawyers.

More information about Herbert W. Clutter was discovered via the Way Back Machine. According to a New York Times article published shortly after the murders in 1959, Herbert W. Clutter, “was a wealthy wheat farmer” and a founder of the Kansas Wheat Growers Association. Herbert Clutter also had a connection to the U.S. corporate government and to then U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower (aka Prince Eduard Egon von Furstenberg Hohenlohe/Hollywood/Coca-Cola executive Barry Diller/Alfred Hitchcock/Oliver Stone/Mike Nichols/Robert Shapiro). “In 1954,” the article from New York Times goes on to report, “President Eisenhower approved him to the Federal Farm Credit Board. The board represents the twelve-farm credit districts in the country. He was also a local member of the Agricultural Department’s Price Stabilization Board and was active with the Great Plains Wheat Growers Association.”
In other words, Herbert W. Clutter was a wealthy, career federal bureaucrat connected with bankers and with a Hollywood and U.S. corporate government executive who, in turn, had genealogical ties to the European aristocratic and royal Von Furstenberg family, Dukes of Swabia and Holy Roman emperors.
Given this, how likely would it have been for both Diller and Herbert W. Clutter to collude with “Truman Capote” in cooking up a profitable media-generated serial homicide hoax?
Without doubt – very likely.
Nor does it appear due to mere coincidence how lately one keeps repeatedly running across the same Hollywood-connected perpetrator of grand fakery – Diller aka Eisenhower/Shapiro – who’s also been involved with so many other heavily promoted MSM psychological operations, one who, while having assumed an array of pseudonyms over the past several decades, has also been modified into a variety of high-profile celebrity personae also recognized as some of Hollywood’s most notable filmmakers. Another pertinent fact to consider is that both Diller and Capote were regular patrons of Studio 54, the once infamous New York nightspot and debauched discotheque.
Coincidence?
No – surely not.
During a late 1970’s television interview conducted and hosted by David Suskind which can be found on You Tube, Capote not only regales the host with his affinity for Studio 54, but he also reveals that he’s had a facelift and that he enjoys singing. The former revelation represents a code, in that Capote is admitting his facial geometry has been modified to fit the scripted specifications of a fabricated role, while the latter detail – singing – represents a golden clue as to the genuine identity of the legendary Hollywood actor/entertainer portraying “Capote”. Suskind also asks Capote about his being drunk during a public speaking engagement and falling off the stage. Though Capote responds to Suskind with denials as to having been intoxicated and plummeting off the dais, Capote then proceeds to reveal that the alleged incident to which Suskind is referring took place at Maryland University. Denials aside, apparently “Truman” can’t keep his story straight because Capote’s televised testimony is refuted by several articles published online, including the one available at the link posted below, which reported that not only was Capote drunk, disorderly, and spewing profanity at the audience, but that the alleged incident took place at Towson University rather than at Maryland University. Not so coincidentally, the veteran Hollywood actor identified in portrayal of “Truman Capote” also once reportedly fell off a stage and, earlier in his career, had problems with alcohol consumption and while involved in a movie production- King of Jazz – was briefly incarcerated for a drunk driving incident. Such biographical convergences underscore one’s Post-Modern Reality Simulation hypothesis. Not only are intelligence-controlled Hollywood/celebrity actors recycled into modified roles, but some of their biographical details are also routinely recycled.

Though Capote’s book alleges that Herbert Clutter, his spouse, and his two teenaged children – Lisa Mae, Kenyon Neal – were murdered by Richard Hickock, Perry Smith, Clutter also had two additional daughters who – as luck would have it – were away from Holcomb, Kansas on the night of the alleged murders. On the night of the murders, Beverly Clutter was boarded at the campus of Kansas State University while Eveanna Marie Clutter had previously moved from the area and, as the New York Times article from 1959 reported, was married twice, on the second occasion to a Donald G. Jarchow. However, Eveanna Marie Clutter’s page at geni.com suspiciously lists a different middle name for her second husband – Donald Frederick Jarchow. However, this odd discrepancy is relatively minor in comparison to what was printed in the aforementioned Esquire article published soon after the release of ‘In Cold Blood’ which called into question the veracity of Capote’s novel and its ‘true-to-life’ accounts, accusations damaging to Capote’s sterling literary reputation. Esquire suggested that Capote’s deliberate factual discrepancies to enhance the dramatic and emotional effect of his book’s narrative were due to moral shortcomings and Capote’s preoccupation with publicizing himself for the sake of maximizing the scope of his public image.
Wikipedia confirms, “Writing in Esquire in 1966, Phillip K. Tompkins noted factual discrepancies after he traveled to Kansas and spoke to some of the same people interviewed by Capote. In a telephone interview with Tompkins, Mrs. Meier denied she heard Perry cry and that she held his hand as described by Capote. In Cold Blood indicates that Meier and Perry became close, yet she told Tompkins she spent little time with Perry and did not talk much with him. ‘Capote has, in short, achieved a work of art,’ Wikipedia quotes Tompkins from his Esquire piece, ‘He has told exceedingly well a tale of high terror in his own way. But despite the brilliance of his self-publicizing efforts, he has made both a tactical and moral error that will hurt him in the short term. By insisting that every word of his book is true, he has made himself vulnerable to those readers who are prepared to examine seriously such a sweeping claim’.”

The preceding quotation from Wikipedia attributed to Esquire’s Tompkins regarding ‘In Cold Blood’ reveals more concerning Capote’s ulterior motives as a clandestine socio-political engineering agent. While making his rounds on the television talk show circuit subsequent to the publication of ‘In Cold Blood’, Capote questioned the merits of capital punishment, thereby making it obvious that the author’s published anecdotes were narrative tools of emotional, psychological manipulation, meant to pose homicidal criminals in a more sympathetic light.
One of Capote’s contemporary authors – true crime writer Jack Olsen – was perhaps even more scathing than Esquire’s Phillip Tompkins. In response to the success of Capote’s book, Wikipedia reports Olsen as having said, “I recognized it {In Cold Blood} as a work of art, but I know fakery when I see it.”
One could argue that regarding “Truman” Capote’s propensity for spreading tissues of lies, Olsen managed to strike the head of the nail.
